چکیده
In Indonesia, dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) continues to be an issue. Although there have been fewer infections in the past three years, many areas of Indonesia remain endemic. Insecticide use is one DHF prevention and control method that has used for a long time. Long-term usage insecticides can cause vector, Aedes aegypti, develop resistance. resistance aegypti was focus this study's analysis literature review. A systematic review using keywords based on population, interest context (PICo) employed study strategy. The databases find publications were ScienceDirect, ProQuest, PubMed, Google Scholar, Garuda from 2018 2022. Hence, 40 papers out 6,429 total articles relevant should reviewed analyzed. According paper, it discovered mosquitoes are resistant pyrethroid organophosphate classes various parts Indonesia. However, several regions both tolerant vulnerable pyrethroids organophosphates. If utilized intolerant locations, monitoring evaluation their must done, strategy varying insecticide kinds dosages boosting community empowerment toward mosquito nest elimination behaviour implemented.

Insecticide susceptibility of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus across Thailand.
Aedes aegypti (L.) and Aedes albopictus (Skuse), two important vectors of dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever, were collected from Mae Sot, Nakhon Sawan, Nakhon Ratchasima, Surat Thani, and Phatthalung, Thailand, from July 2003 to April 2004. The patterns of insecticide susceptibility to temephos, malathion, and permethrin of both Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus larvae were determined. Ae....
متن کاملCharacterization of dengue virus in Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus spp. of mosquitoes: A study in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
Dengue is a vector-borne disease caused by dengue virus. According to the recent report of CDC that one-third population of the world are at high risk with Dengue fever. The prevalence of the dengue hemorrhagic fever was found more in tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world. Aedes mosquitoes was reported as the main cause of transmission of dengue virus. So the current study was planned ...
متن کاملBiochemical mechanisms of insecticide resistance in field population of Dengue vector Aedes aegypti (Diptera: Culicidae)
Insecticide resistance has been known to be prevalent in several insect species including mosquito. It has become a major problem in vector control programme due to pesticide resistance through detoxification enzymes. The present study investigated the toxicity of Ae. aegypti to organophosphates and pyrethroid insecticide and biochemical mechanisms involved in insecticide resistance in larval p...
متن کاملUndesirable Consequences of Insecticide Resistance following Aedes aegypti Control Activities Due to a Dengue Outbreak
BACKGROUND During a dengue outbreak with co-circulation of DENV-1 and -2 in the city of Boa Vista, one patient was diagnosed with DENV-4, a serotype supposed absent from Brazil for almost 30 years. The re-emergence of DENV-4 triggered the intensification of mechanical and chemical Aedes aegypti control activities in order to reduce vector density and avoid DENV-4 dissemination throughout the co...
متن کاملInheritance Pattern of Temephos Resistance, an Organophosphate Insecticide, in Aedes aegypti (L.)
The present paper reports the mode of inheritance of resistance in laboratory induced temephos resistant and susceptible strains of Ae. aegypti. Homozygous resistant and susceptible strains of Ae. aegypti were generated by selective inbreeding at a diagnostic dose of 0.02 mg/L of temephos. Genetic crosses were carried out between these strains to determine the inheritance pattern of temephos re...
